OVERVIEW
We're looking for a Business Development Executive to drive user growth for TrueEmailer globally. Your core focus is simple:
👉 Find the right people online, spark conversations, and book demo calls that turn into signups.
You'll work across platforms like LinkedIn, Reddit, and IndieHackers to reach founders, marketers, and startup teams who need email marketing and cold outreach tools. No prior product knowledge required we'll train you on everything, including how to run demos.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Find and engage potential users on LinkedIn, Reddit (r/entrepreneur, r/SaaS, r/emailmarketing), IndieHackers, and similar communities.
- Run targeted outreach campaigns to founders, marketers, and startup teams who need email marketing or cold outreach solutions.
- Book product demo calls with interested prospects and add them to our signup pipeline.
- Take demos yourself once trained we will fully teach you how to demo TrueEmailer effectively.
- Initially focus on booking demos; gradually take ownership of running demos as you get comfortable.
- Follow up with leads post-demo to convert them into paying users or trial signups.
- Track outreach activity, booked demos, and conversions report weekly.
- Share feedback from prospects with the product team to improve positioning.
WHERE YOU'LL FIND LEADS
Your primary outreach channels will include:
- LinkedIn DMs, connection requests, commenting on relevant posts
- Reddit r/SaaS, r/entrepreneur, r/emailmarketing, r/startups, and niche subreddits
- IndieHackers community posts, direct messages, project feedback threads
- Twitter/X engaging founders and indie makers in the builder community
- Cold email and other async outreach where relevant
HOW DEMOS WORK
Initially, your job is to book the demos we'll handle the call. As you get comfortable with the product, you'll start taking demos yourself. We'll give you a full walkthrough, call scripts, and live shadowing sessions so you're never thrown in the deep end unprepared.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Comfortable with online outreach and not afraid to send the first message.
- Clear, friendly written communication you represent the brand.
- Self-starter who can work without hand-holding.
- Organized able to track leads, follow-ups, and demo schedules.
- Genuine interest in SaaS, startups, or email marketing.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in outreach, BDR, SDR, or sales roles.
- Active presence on LinkedIn, Reddit, or IndieHackers.
- Familiarity with email marketing, cold outreach tools, or deliverability concepts.
- Experience working with or selling SaaS products.
